How can I get my business listed here?
If you would like your business included here, make sure to include the complete retail and/or mailing address, telephone number, web url, email address, catalog cost, types of merchandise, price range, custom work options, etc., and please email all of this information to agffaq@orchidkiss.com. Take a look at the current listings to see all the info. we need and the format we need it in. The more details, the better!

Note: Please email ALL of this information. Do not just send your url -- that makes for a lot more work (especially since many retail websites do not put mail-order contact info. up-front where it's easy to find), and that automatically puts your request at the bottom of the faq.to.do list. Thanks!

What businesses get into the faq?
We add any business that sells merchandise people have asked for frequently on a.g.f. This includes, but is not limited to, gothic clothing, fetish and leather clothing, unusual colors of makeup and hair dye, historical styles of clothing, gothic jewelry, pagan and celtic styles of jewelry, and gothic home accessories. If you know of a business that sells any of these types of items, please let us know.

Do the businesses pay to get listed here?
Hell no! And we will not accept any advertising on this site either. While we do appreciate gratis copies of catalogs for review, we will not let that effect published reviews. We always try to include as much information about a business, pro and con, so that the readers can judge for themselves. We will also include negative reviews because we want to present a fair picture of all businesses and warn other potential customers.

How can I add a review of a business?
If you have a comment or review about any of the businesses listed here, please include the name of the business and as much specific information about your experience with them, including prices, sizes, shipping time, customer service, etc., and please email all of this information to agffaq@orchidkiss.com. The more details, the better! Also, you might want to tell what name you want your comments attributed to, otherwise we'll use what's in your email address.

Who writes this stuff?
This faq is currently written and maintained by Ice Princess, who is building on work done by the original faqmistress, Trystan L. Bass (who had vast and highly appreciated assistance from Daednu), plus input from many, many current and past posters on alt.gothic.fashion. We are always happy to see any comments/corrections/additions, so email agffaq@orchidkiss.com.

When will I see new stuff in the faq?
Revisions are only guaranteed semi-annually (that means twice a year). Because the faq is intended to provide simple answers to the basic frequently asked questions of the newsgroup, it does not and never will cover every aspect of gothic fashion. However, do look through the resources section for other sites that might attempt to do that!
