9.0 alt.gothic.fashion advertising guidelines

these guidelines were worked out mainly by Sande and siani over a series of articles on alt.gothic.fashion and alt.gothic. with some later additions by Lady Bathory.

1. advertisements should be labeled by subject headers starting with "AD" (in capitals). these tags apply to eBay.com auction ads as well.

2. ads should be kept short and to the point.

3. FASHION ads should be posted _only_ to a.g.f., not to the newsgroup alt.gothic.

4. commercial ads should be posted only once every three months. frequent ebay.com auction sellers are allowed one ad post per month for on-topic auctions. or the seller can simply add the sale information to her/his sig.line.

5. no personal ADs.

these are only guidelines, to be mailed to anyone who posts an ad. if you have any objections, please email siani (bw622@freenet.carleton.ca) or Sande (sande@mail.geocities.com) or complain to the newsgroup. we will take any considerations into account and possibly revise the guidelines.
