Hi.

My name's Elizabeth.

I recently graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, majoring in History with a minor in Women's Studies.
I moved to back to Massachusetts in July of 2006 to establish residency and work in the field for a year before heading back to grad school, that is, if they accept me.

I work selling antibacterial soap as I wait for colleges/universities to realize that I am awesome and that they must hire me. This means that I do lots of stock work, causing bruises to randomly appear on my personage, and deal with bullshit customers. I do, however, work with some of the neatest girls I've had the good fortune to meet.

I have awesome eyes. If there's one thing about my body that I actually really like, it's my eyes. They're blue with a brown streak in the left one. I'm also rather fond of my hair, but I think that's more because of hair dye than the actual hair itself.

My parents, who I am rather close to, live in Florida, my brother's in the next town over up here, and most of the rest of the clan live from Massachusetts to North Florida. I now have lots of family near by. It's an adjustment, but a good one to be making. It pleases me greatly.

I am interested in a variety of crafts, cross stitch, knitting, clay work, screen printing, jewelry making, the list goes on. I'm a big fan of cooking and baking and carpentry. Phear my leet chocolate babka.

I'm mostly dull with occasional moments of intriguingness. I don't care if that's not a word.

I am a big, big Star Trek: The Next Generation fan and a HUGE Grey's Anatomy fan. Grey's Anatomy has also caused me to use the word "seriously" far too much. I also rather enjoy Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, and CSI and all its various spin offs. NCIS is also the shit. I miss Invader Zim, but that's okay because I have volumes one, two and three on dvd and Shayna to send me random text message quotes.

My favourite movies are Dead Again, Plunkett and Macleane, Secretary, Quills, Clue, and Run Lola Run. I also enjoy a good Mel Brooks or Brat Pack flick.

I listen to mostly goth rock, 80's synthpop, David Bowie, and chick rock. I'm a really big Cruxshadows fan, and am disgustingly fond of Leiahdorus, Wolfsheim, Tori Amos, and Gary Numan. I like a variety of other bands including but not limited to Queen, Bloodhound Gang, The Spice Girls, Violent Femmes, Stabbing Westward, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Ego Likeness, Switchblade Symphony, Ani DiFranco, Rammstein, and others.

I very much miss gothic rock, like Suspiria, Nosferatu, old Cruxshadows and old Bella Morte. I like EBM, but really wish someone would reawaken the cheesy goth rock side of things. Maybe I just need to expand my musical horizons a bit more.

I basically boil down to: Wiccan, Historian, Feminist, Depressive. I'm trying to add non-smoker and fluent speaker of German to that list. The non-smoker portion is just kinda not happening. I'll try again closer to my birthday.

Oh wait. I have a wish list on amazon. It kinda hints at what I like.
